I LOVE flannel. It's so soft and snuggly. And what do I think babies need? Snuggly soft flannel receiving blankets. I went to Pacific Fabrics down at Northgate (the place where I got my fabric for the Hemphill and Olson baby quilts) and found a lot of really cute flannel that I cut into blankets that are about 36" by 36". Did a quick hem on the edges to make some blankets. Really fast and simple project. Can you tell that these are for baby boys?
